High Performance Certifications

Corporations can now purchase our highly touted High Performance Certifications™ in bulk quantities through digital downloads.  Ivy Rawson has created two different levels of high performance certifications centered around twelve talent dimensions.  These twelve categories are tested and proven to be an employer’s guideline to assessing a potential’s capabilities and development.  These certifications are used by Corporations to determine career readiness on the part of the participant.  The certification takes the individual through a series of situations and questions that allow them to predict performance which evaluates their readiness in transitioning from one career to another, one position to another position intra-company, or movement from non-management to a front line supervisory position.

High Performance Transition Certification™:  This Certification is the baseline Certification used mainly for non-management personnel moving from one job to another or from one career to another.  Management personnel can also use this Certification to determine an employee’s focus and ability while changing from one management position to another lateral management position.   This career transition tool is used by Corporations to prepare the employee for any new assignment .  These results are a way to determine the basic preparedness and willingness of the individual to add value immediately as a new employee.  This Situational Judgment Index ultimately gives the employer a candidate’s experience and understanding of acceptable work behaviors.

High Performance Management Certification™:  This Certification is specifically developed for Managers and introduces many more supervisory situations and questions in determining the level of readiness.  This Certification will determine the Supervisor’s familiarity with managing other people.  It focuses on the Problem Solving and Decision-Making ability of a Supervisor through a selection of activities and situations that are common occurrences in the workplace.  In addition, prioritization and effective management techniques are rated through descriptions of work scenarios that each candidate can choose the appropriate handling mechanism for the employee issue.  This Certification was designed with effective management in mind, and it recognizes that it is incumbent upon any candidate in a management role to be able to predict and perform ancillary management tasks.

Twelve Behavioral Dimensions: Our Clients insist that these twelve dimensions are critically necessary for all employees to begin to master.  Our High Performance Transition Certification™ and our High Performance Management Certification™ provide the vehicle to determine the level of readiness of all employees or potential candidates for positions.  These dimensions cover an array of skill sets ranging from behavioral recognition, to cognitive ability, to essential problem solving, to emotional intelligence, and decision making skills.

Once an individual completes the certification, they receive one of three ratings connected to these twelve behaviors which determines their ability to understand and demonstrate effective or ineffective behavior. The individual will have the opportunity to study the dimension and the correct use of the skill before taking the Certification.  The participant has three opportunities to meet the objectives of the Certification at which point they will receive a personalized, authentic High Performance Certification.

The Three Ratings

More Than Acceptable:  80-100% of your situations were handled effectively
Acceptable:  60-80% of your situations were handled effectively
Less Than Acceptable:  Less than 60% of your situations were handled effectively

All participants who receive a rating of ‘Acceptable’ or ‘More Than Acceptable’ will receive a Certification.  Those individuals that receive a ‘Less Than Acceptable’ will have the opportunity to study more and retake the evaluation a total of two additional times to receive a ‘More Than Acceptable’ or an “Acceptable’ Certification.
